LabPad® Evolution is a handheld Point of Care (PoC) multi-measurements testing device, designed to assist healthcare professionals in direct contact with patients, wherever they are. It operates with a range of compatible single-use SmartChip tests, each SmartChip allowing for the performance of a specific biology test.
In the shape of a ‘T’, Tsmart® SmartChips are used to perform coagulation tests. Shaped like a key, the Ksmart® SmartChip enables the completion of immuno-chromatographic tests.
Assays that are currently available include Ksmart® D-Dimer, Ksmart® CRP and Tsmart® INR rapid tests with Tsmart® FIB Batrox assay due to launch in 2024.

Ksmart® D-DIMER
Reliable
Ksmart® CRP is a rapid fluorescence immunoassay for the quantitative in vitro detection of D-dimer antigen in human whole blood collected by fingertip or venipuncture. This test is intended only for use with the LabPad® Evolution. In the clinic, it is primarily used to exclude venous thrombosis, for the ancillary diagnosis of disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) and for the monitoring of thrombolytic therapy.

Ksmart® CRP is a rapid fluorescence immunoassay for the quantitative in vitro detection of C-reactive Protein (CRP) antigen in human whole blood (capillary and heparinised venous blood) and plasma. This test is intended for use with the LabPad® Evolution only. The use of the Ksmart® CRP test is intended to aid in the rapid diagnosis of elevated CRP levels.
