RAMP® 200
The RAMP® Platform, developed by Response Biomedical Corp., is a lateral flow immunoassay platform that provides lab quality results within minutes. The RAMP® Platform can be adapted to accurately measure virtually any immunologically active substance with speed, precision and accuracy. with an average time to result of ~15 minutes. The RAMP® 200 is an advanced, multi-port reader with innovative design features and consists of a Control Module (CM) and a Test Module (TM). The CM provides a convenient touchscreen interface to facilitate easy menu navigation and access to patient and quality control results. The dual port TM provides high throughput capability for any facility, allowing patient tests to be run simultaneously (18-36) per hour., with the option to expand the reader system to up to 3 TMs. The system is ideally suited for both the GP surgery as well as in hospital and / or private laboratories.
The RAMP® 200 is a system comprised of two primary components:
- A Test Module (TM) that analyses sample tests.
- A Control Module (CM) that manages the sample test results that it receives from the TM.
Calibration and expiration information for Test Cartridges are uploaded to the CM through Lot Cards that are included with the Test Kits. The measurement process is based on the use of antibodies, biologically-derived binding agents that can be used to specifically identify and bind to target analytes. The RAMP® 200 Test consists of two components: a disposable Test Cartridge that houses an analyte specific immunochromatographic strip and a portable fluorescence analyser. A "sandwich" immunoassay is carried out. Target-specific antibodies are used to tag fluorescently labelled latex particles. The RAMP® 200 also incorporates a quantitative Internal Standard that is run and measured concurrently in every test.
Important notes
In vitro use only.
To be used by trained professionals only.
Multi Analyte Testing
Offering a high throughput of tests with an expandable and flexible design, the RAMP® 200 analyser will easily fit into any clinic or lab. With the ability to run multiple tests on different patients simultaneously, along with no maintenance or calibration required, the RAMP® 200 is a simple and easy product to use. The RAMP® 200 offers the five main tests - Troponin, NT pro-BNP, Myoglobin, CK-MB, and D-Dimer, used to identify Congestive Heart Failure, Acute Myocardial Infarction and Deep Vein Thrombosis.
Highly Efficient
With its bright, easy to read, touchscreen interface for rapid menu navigation and the ability to have the results printed, exported to USB, and / or uploaded to the user’s internal network the RAMP® 200 will work well in any location. Offering self-diagnostic and internal quality control checks along with the knowledge that the RAMP® 200 needs no calibration or maintenance you can be assured of a quality precise cardiovascular analyser.
Providing results within an average time of 15 minutes, no matter whether the RAMP 200 is located in a GP Surgery, Accident and Emergency ward, Community Health Clinic, or lab conditions the RAMP 200 cardiovascular analyser will provide accurate results. The dual port TM provides high throughput capability for any facility, allowing patient tests to be run simultaneously, with the option to expand the reader system to up to 3 TMs.
