The Rapi-D Reader is designed to provide test results of test units based on Lateral Flow Immunoassay. The reader is a mobile measuring device for colorimetric tests based on reflectance measurements. The technology allows a quantitative and qualitative evaluation of the Rapi-D test. The test-specific data like lot number and expiry date is transferred wirelessly by radio-frequency identification (RFID) before each measurement.

This reader should be used solely for the purpose of reading test results obtained with Lateral Flow-based Rapi-D Tests as per the package insert included in the test kits.
